The South East Magic Under 17’s Youth Girls Sevens team have been announced as the latest team confirmed for the UON Central Coast Sevens Youth Tournament.
The Sydney Club and Sydney Regional Champions are highly regarded and will pose a real threat to the title in the inaugural youth event that will also double as a selection trial for the New South Wales 7s team preparing for the National Titles in November.
UON Central Coast Sevens Tournament Director Craig Morgan said “we welcome the Magic to the tournament, they run a great Sevens program and are very successful. The Magic will be a team to watch, who will be capable of winning the tournament but also trying their best to push forward their players to be identified by the NSW 7s team selectors”.
The youth tournament will kick off Friday 21st October featuring both Youth Girls and Boys events in the Under 17’s age bracket to fit with the state and national Sevens pathway.
