Tongan Champions Toloa Old Boys are set to return for their second attempt at claiming the title of the prestigious UON Central Coast Sevens.
The powerful Tongans made their debut at the tournament in 2016 and will return in October ar more experienced after experiencing the strength of the tournament for the first time last year.
The side are expected to be bouyed by strong support from the Australian Tongan community who will get right behind their countrymen as they take on what has been described as one of the toughest invitational tournaments in the world.
Central Coast Sevens Tournament Director Craig Morgan said “we are looking forward to Toloa returning and adding another international element to the tournament alongside teams from Fiji, New Zealand, China, Canada, USA and teams from around Australia the Tongans are known for a physical and open game and they will add another air of excitement to the competition”.
The final line-up is near complete with the draw anticipated to be undertaken in September.
