Tongan National Sevens Champions Toloa Old Boys have been confirmed to make their debut at the UON Central Coast Sevens in October.
Toloa Old Boys currently feature six of the Tongan National Sevens team and will be the first Tongan team to compete at the Central Coast Sevens Tournament.
Tournament Director Craig Morgan said “we are excited to welcome Toloa Old Boys to the Central Coast Sevens, they are the reigning Tongan National Champions so will no doubt bring their strongest side to represent their club but also their country. We have a great Tongan community on the Central Coast who will celevate the news of the teams inclusion with strong support expected for the team”.
Toloa Old Boys join an impressive line up of teams from around the world ready to converge on the Central Coast to contest what is regarded as one of the toughest invitational tournaments in the world.
The UON Central Coast Sevens will kick off with a youth boys and youth girls tournament on Friday 21st October followed by the international men’s and women’s tournament held over Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd October.
